Tom and His Cat

Tom has a cat. The cat is small and black. Her name is Mia.

Every day, Tom gets up at seven. He says, "Good morning, Mia!" Mia is on the bed. She is happy to see Tom.

Tom gives Mia milk and food. Mia eats and drinks. Then she sleeps on the chair.

Tom eats bread. He drinks water. He puts on his shoes and his coat. "Goodbye, Mia," he says. "I go to school now."

Mia looks at Tom. She is sad. She wants to play. But Tom is not home. He is at school.

At school, Tom reads books. He writes words. His teacher is nice. Tom likes school.

Tom comes home at four. Mia is at the door. Now she is very happy! Tom is happy too.

Tom and Mia play with a ball. The ball is red. Mia runs and jumps. Tom laughs.

At night, Tom eats dinner with his family. Mia sits under the table. She waits for food.

Then Tom goes to bed. Mia sleeps near him. "Good night, Mia," Tom says. The house is quiet.
