The Lost Key

Marco loses his key and looks everywhere for it.

Yesterday, Marco lost his key. He looked in his bag, but it was not there. He looked in his coat, but it was not there either.

"Where is my key?" he asked. He was worried. He needed to open the door of his house.

Marco thought about his morning. He went to the shop and bought bread and milk. Then he walked in the park. Maybe the key fell in the park.

He went back to the park. He looked at the grass near the bench. He looked under the trees. But he did not find the key.

A woman saw him. "Did you lose something?" she asked. "Yes," said Marco. "I lost my key." The woman smiled. "I found a key here this morning," she said. "I gave it to the man in the small office near the gate."

Marco went to the office. The man opened a box. Inside, there were many keys. "Is one of these yours?" he asked.

Marco looked and looked. Then he saw it. "This one!" he said. He was very happy.

He thanked the man and the woman. Then he walked home. This time, he put the key in a safe place. "I will not lose you again," he said to the key, and he laughed.
